Project 1 "Basic kit"

For CHF 550 - we can send a basic kit of floorball material to various countries. It is most suitable for starting a new floorball project.

Contents of basic kit:

1 stickbag with 18 straight floorball stick and 36 blades at both ends for beginners, 2 goalie masks, 2 pairs of goalie knee pads, 30 floorball balls, 20 t-shirts in 2 colors, 20 team hats and various theory material such as brochures and DVD training tips.

Project 2 "Winner kit"

For CHF 950 - there is a winner kit containing floorball material for the further development and expansion of floorball training in countries that have already started with floorball.

1 stickbag with 18 concave floorball sticks and 36 blades on the left or right, 2 goalie masks, 2 goalie sweaters, 2 goalie pants, 2 pairs of goalie knee pads, 50 floorball balls, 20 team t-shirts in 2 colours, 20 team hats and various theory material such as brochures, books and DVDs for training.

Project 3 Floorball coach for Brazil

a young coach who can invest up to 50% in the floorball-building initiatives is needed urgently. The person is required to work at the edge of a favela in the south of the huge metropolis of São Paulo. There is a great potential for expansion. Job begins in spring 2010. Salary per month CHF 200.00.

Project 4 Floorball coach for Nepal

Five part-time coaches are currently employed in a very innovative youth centre in Pokhara. They run floorball training courses in four schools, various training courses in neighbourhoods and in slums, as well as five training sessions at the youth centre. In addition, they build solid teams in the schools and organise tournaments and games for children. Regular training sessions are planned for girls. We need three female coaches for this purpose. Support for one coach / CHF 50.00 per month.

Project 5 'Floorball coach for Djibouti’

Currently, various trainings are being conducted for two age groups at four locations. Another project site is planned and will be launched in the near future. Four coaches are already doing a great job and two or three more are very motivated and ready to start. Cost for a coach including additional costs CHF 160.00 per month.

Project 6 "Sponsorship for participants'

Often, one - three week operations focusing on coach training see younger participants who are eager to lend their time and energy, but have limited financial resources. This fund is to ensure that dedicated and motivated people can participate with potential in such assignments.

Why do we support coaches in the project countries?

The high Swiss franc rate can adjust really well. The work in the countries increases and decreases with motivated and trained staff on site. Often, the good people need to be hired and compensated in part so that they can regularly and reliably train. Many have to work for very little money, if at all, for a very long time just to earn enough to live on. Others look for day labour work or go to school. They cannot be regular in their training because they often provide for their families and pay for their tuition. But regular training is necessary for a sustainable long-term floorball work. Therefore, we want to support some coaches known to us and trained by us with monthly instalments. This will ensure a substantial increase in numbers and a guarantee of sustainability, with relatively little money. How would it be if floorball clubs, teams, families, companies or individuals consent to support some of these young people from underprivileged circumstances on a regular basis or once? How do these sound? - "Our coach in Djibouti, Nepal, ..." or "I'll be the godfather of a coach in Brazil," These amounts could induce remarkable developments and boost quality. It is possible for much less than a coffee or beer a day.
